Rocky Mountain Kool-Aid
Coors is brewed at Golden, Colorado, and has always sold itself on Rocky Mountain spring water. Because it was unpasteurized and had to be kept cold, the company distributed in only eleven western states until 1976 and did not reach the whole country until 1986. Hauling it east is the entire plot of Smokey and the Bandit.
