The entry

The look pairs loose waves through the length of the hair with flat, uncurled ends, made with a wide-barrel iron. It spread through Utah-based Mormon parenting influencers on Instagram and TikTok, and outside observers attached the state's name to it. The New York Times used the phrase in May 2025 in a piece on a broader political beauty style.
