The entry

Giuseppe Cesàro and Despret described richellite in 1883 in the Annales de la Société géologique de Belgique from material collected at Richelle near Visé in Liège province. Type material is held at the University of Liège. The only other well documented occurrence is the Gold Quarry mine in Nevada.
