At a 1973 party the journalist Mary Kenny was found upstairs with a former minister in Milton Obote's Ugandan government and said they had been discussing Uganda. Private Eye printed the line and has used it ever since. The magazine's standard forms are Ugandan discussions and Ugandan affairs.
