Beijing bikini
The habit is common across urban China in summer, and Chinese has its own term for the men who adopt it, bangye. Several cities, among them Jinan and Tianjin, ran campaigns against the habit in 2019 in the name of civilized behavior. The English name is a joke coined by foreign residents and journalists.
