Sarah Hamouda created the bar for her company Fix Dessert Chocolatier in Dubai in 2021, packing the pistachio and kunafa flavors of Levantine sweets into a chocolate shell. A viral video in 2024 turned it into a global copycat product and helped push pistachio prices sharply upward.
