Bred out of a fighting dog that no longer exists.

Antonio Nores Martinez began the line near Cordoba in 1928, crossing the now-extinct Cordoba fighting dog with mastiffs, boxers, pointers and Great Danes to get an animal that would hunt alongside other dogs instead of attacking them. Several countries restrict or ban the breed, a legacy of the fighting stock still sitting in its pedigree.
